I have been a host for several students over the past ten years. I've had students from S. Korea, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Thailand, and Vietnam. We have a lot of fun learning. It's really what I love to do. I believe that English Language Learners need a productive and enjoyable learning atmosphere where they can feel confident to participate and practice together. It is important to me as an English teacher. I have always had a passion for English and later learned that my passion carries into all languages. I have been helping ESL students for years now and find it to be very rewarding. I understand that different students learn in different ways so each person will develop at different levels with different strengths and weaknesses. I also try to focus on what motivates students to study English and use their reason for learning to build a curiosity for them to what to know more!
