Kaplan University-Maine Campus - Associates, Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. Areas I would like to tutor are in writing, reading comprehension, English, history, math and algebra. I have many real life experiences to relate to subjects that will be beneficial to any student who may have difficulty understanding a given concept.
Experience
I worked with fellow students while getting my degree, both on line and one on one. Some of my experience was organizing study groups or preparing tutorials to instruct others to set up computers for specific tasks, such as applying hot keys for use in MS Word docs, or PowerPoint presentations to explain legal concepts. Tutoring would be a wonderful way to give back to the community in a meaningful way. It is very rewarding to know that you have helped someone achieve something they felt was beyond them, and realize they are more capable than they thought.
