I live in Mesa, Arizona, and am a graduate of Northern Arizona University. I majored in Special and Elementary Education.I have experience tutoring kids at the first through fourth grade levels. Most of my mentoring took place in a classroom environment, but I'm willing to do private tutoring as well.I tutor students in the following disciplines: Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, Special Education, Reading, Writing, Math, English, etc. I also tutor during summer break if your child wants or needs it.I prefer to work with students on a one on one basis rather than teaching a group of students all at once. That way, each student can receive individualized attention. I strongly believe that each and every child is brilliant, and possesses the capability of obtaining knowledge.When I mentor my students, I do it in a way that shows patience and expresses an encouraging attitude. I'm eager to assist your child so they can succeed.I busy myself with many activities when I'm not tutoring. I like to exercise by dancing, doing gymnastics, and hiking around the great outdoors of my city. I also like to work on arts and crafts and crochet different types of clothing.
