Experience

SAT Composite: 1820 I am a music education major at ASU. I also currently work as a Marching Band instructor at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, and ave been playing the saxophone for 10 years, and teaching it for 4. I am proficient on all woodwind instruments, including oboe and bassoon, and can tutor these instruments up to an intermediate level. I specialize at Saxophone, and am very adept at clarinet, and am able to teach these instruments at a much higher level. Aside from instrument specific tutoring, I am knowledgeable about Music Theory and general music at a college level and am able to teach these subjects through a high school level. Outside of the realm of music, I was previously an electrical engineering major, and am capable of tutoring in all degrees of math and science. I have completed college classes in mathematics up to calculus III and both Chemistry and Physics for science related courses. I tutor in any of these subjects through an advanced high school level. I am a very avid writer, and my essays and poems have been entered in multiple writing contests. I can tutor in all forms of English ranging from basic language arts, up though high school AP english classes. I enjoy tutoring because I believe it is a very fulfilling way for me to earn a living while making use of my skills and achievements. I love working with kids, and I think its a wonderful feeling to see someone grow and succeed due to the help and encouragement I have given them.
