Benjamin Franklin once said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." I have worked with children for the past several years in a number of ways, including teaching swimming lessons and coaching a swimming team. I am comfortable working with many types of students, regardless of whether they are on tight deadlines or have learning challenges such as ADHD. I am aware that no child will learn in the same way or at the same pace, but given the right circumstances, they can learn. The goal is to find the right mix for each student.I am a recent graduate of Boise State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I spent four years swimming for the Broncos, and completed my career in the pool last February.I love teaching others and giving someone the knowledge needed to succeed. I also love learning, which I find to be the best part about tutoring others, because tutoring blends both teaching and learning. I am comfortable teaching any basic math class, as well as writing, social sciences, and English.In my free time, I enjoy interior design.
