I graduated from Western Oregon State College in 1977 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In May of 2014 I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership.
Experience
After graduating from college in Oregon I taught 1st and 2nd grades in Florence,Oregon. After moving to California I taught grades 3-8. Since moving to Arizona in 1996, I have taught Math and English High School classes. I also was the principal at an alternative charter high school in Payson, AZ from 2000 to 2008. I have been told that I have an innate ability to get along with young people. I help students understand that everything is easy when you know how to do it.
