Experience
I am eager to tutor students who're looking to boost their English skills. I am a certified educator with experience teaching English and Reading in the public school system, as well as working as a coach and an administrator. I love tutoring because it lets me work directly with students so that I'm able to come up with creative ways to help them overcome their challenges in the classroom. I currently have a bachelor's degree in art history and in business administration, as well as a master's degree in education. One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is being able to use my diverse educational background to come up with creative ways to make my classroom more engaging. My goal is to help students overcome their educational obstacles while building important life skills that they can use to help them succeed in the professional world. I believe that a good education is more than just memorizing material for upcoming tests, which is why I try to relate all of my coursework to my students' needs and interests. That way, they're doing more than just memorizing answers - they're also learning how to apply their knowledge practically in the world. When I'm not working, I like spending my time outdoors with my family.
