I graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and Bachelor's in Spanish. I am in my 5th year of teaching high school math. I have taught Algebra I, Honors Algebra I, Algebra II, Honors Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and College Algebra. I graduated with a 3.69 GPA in 2011.
Experience
Prior tutoring experience for Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Geometry. Taught Pre-Calculus and Pysics over the summer with Science Bound at East High School in Des Moines, IA and I was also an assistant with the Algebra program as well. I teach at the secondary level so this would be a great opportunity to help students. I have taken all high school courses in Math and Spanish.
Availability
Mon/Wed/Fri after 3PM, Sunday in the afternoon

Hobbies
I have a love for watching students learn and succeed after struggling with a subject. I like preparing students for upcoming assessments and/or helping with any questions they have for their homework. Outside of school, I really enjoy spending time with my husband, whether it's hiking, traveling, camping, or taking pictures, we love being outside. I am also a huge Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan, so I definitely try to catch a game or two when they are in town. I look forward to being available to help you succeed.
