As far as tutoring experience goes, I have tutored throughout my academic career, beginning in high school. I was an AVID tutor in high school for Highland Junior High. While at UCLA, I tutored Calculus in the Amigos de UCLA Program, which serves multiracial students who come from underserved populations. I have taken many courses throughout my academic career. I started out in the advanced placement programs in elementary school and continued to excel since, moving onto honors classes and AP classes in high school and finally to UCLA. My tutoring style is unique in that I have great patience and change my strategy to fit every student. Based on the needs of the student, I will design a plan to provide the skills the student needs to succeed.
