I graduated from Yale University in 2012. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. The focus of my studies was in Cell Biology. I really enjoyed tutoring remedial Math and English to students in the D.C. metro area. I have also spent time in Beijing and tutored students in English. I tutor a number of private students, and can teach in a broad variety of subjects. However, I am most passionate about helping students prepare for the SAT and MCAT standardized tests. Math, English, Writing, and Grammar are also subjects I enjoy teaching.These subjects are among the most relevant to what affects us in everyday living. I experience such a joy when one of my students experiences a mental breakthrough. Then, the doors of understanding steadily open wide. Students are able to build on each new level of understanding, and before long they are solving problems on their own. Everyone has a different way of learning and grasping new information.
