I am currently working toward a B.S. in Exercise and Wellness at Arizona State University. I came by my interest in tutoring naturally, as I have several younger brothers and sisters and so have been helping others learn since childhood. I have always loved that moment when I can see understanding in a person's eyes as he or she grasps a new concept and gains confidence. I tutor in chemistry, anatomy, and math, but math is my preference for tutoring. It's very rewarding to see someone who has been struggling gain control of the material. I honestly believe that math isn't out of reach for anyone--it's just a matter of practice, confidence, and the right guidance. If you think you're "not a math person," you may be surprised. Beyond my education and tutoring, I really enjoy sports. I play pickup basketball, volleyball, and football, and love travel and beaches.
